![]() ![]() ![]() Instead you get an inline six CUV "Muscle car" (LMAO) called a Hornet (more like HorNOT) and a really fast Tesla being branded as a Charger Daytona. If they actually fought for your freedom to buy a gas guzzling V8, just imagine the fan base and comeback buyers that would bring. I think they caved too easily because the government carbon emission fined them to hell and back. If Dodge or dealerships actually cared they'd give the government the middle finger and make Hellcats and Scat Packs until people stop buying them. Have you ever been invited to a dealership for a BBQ without being hassled to trade in your current vehicle? Bottom line is they are businesses wanting to make money. Dodge doesn't care about you and neither do dealerships, they care about profits. And I dislike seeing honest people that likely work hard for their money get ripped off by greedy corporations. They are not worth the prices they have now been marked up to. All I'm saying is please don't be the fool unless you have enormous free-flowing cash that paying way over MSRP is a drop in the bucket for you. But anything over that is just someone trying to rip you off. As I stated, it's basically a Dodge Demon. As long as the person buying it thinks it has that value, more power to em.Īre they worth MSRP. The fact that a few decals, stickers, and bolt ons can recreate a version that's being sold 2x over msrp should be a huge red flag. A Hennessey Camaro or Challenger, now that is unique, those will hold value. There's nothing unique about them specifically (Twin turboed, special supercharger, special one off enhancements for XMSN or suspension). Mark my words, all these last call special editions will not hold value as they can be easily made by buying stickers and decals with a repaint. They are really just Dodge Demons with decals. The roof is a giant decal for 2x over MSRP.LOL. The modern one doesn't even have a real black alligator skin roof. Hellcat is a brand, Demon is a brand, Black Ghost is a one off specific car with a legend. These decaled Special Editions are nothing but money grabs and they will not hold their value. they are just marketing some posers to get people to pay over MSRP, and of course people will. ![]() Black Ghost was a specific car, not a brand (until now I guess). none of the modern ones are "real" Black Ghosts either. Mekrunner.Only 100K over sticker.LOL.100K is for some people what is a buck for the rest of us.Everything is relative.Like collecting stamps. It is only a stamp but they printed only 300 of it.LOL I mean I could see it if these Last Call cars had been truly special with some real hardware to make them special like aluminium block, rev match, real handbrake, rear seats without headrest that fold down, AWD on HCats. But nothing but decals, emblems or E-85 Kits sold for fantasy prices.Dodge themselves thought these Last Calls where not that special riveting the Last Call badges on the plastic cover on top of the drivers side head lamp lamp taken off real easy with one tuck not even riveted on the body staying with the car for life.At least they got one model In Clovis they must think having the most special of specials asking $298K for a Black Ghost. The equivalent of 3 SC-WB's as ADM.My buddy who just got a 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring 6-spd does not feel so raped anymore having paid 100K markup after I told him about the Black Ghost on cargurus.LOL Crazy times we live in for sure but in the end it is very bad for the whole automotive industry and car enthusiasts in general because young people are turned off and the industry is reacting with more boring and appliance like transportation devices.I hope the dealers will look at their inflated stickers in 2024 and wishing they had sold them at msrp in 2023 while discounting them heavily.Ĭlick to. ![]()
